Waiting for maxwel XD

Maybe you need to go over to the Titan owners thread, ask the guys who are running 3x1600p monitors on 2 or 3 Titans with games that are pushing 4500MB+

You guys are missing the big picture? Nvidia would not put his flagship card in jeopardy i mean come on lol..
Instead they give you a bunch of rebranded cards and a cut down version of titan as a 780 come on guys wake up..
They have been rebranding cards since way before the titan ever came out dude.

What will your argument be if the 780 comes in around $549-$600?

That would be "ok" problem is nvidia dont drop their prices XD, i can swallow that... Or wait for a new gen of gpu... Instead of a rehash..

yeah multis not one... lol
690 4gb btw??

OK, I think we've basically reached the root cause of all your flame bait - Nvidia priced you out of Titan ownership.

Once AMD have a chip to compete, expect your price drops.

Which is exactly why there is 6GB on the card....

If you put many of them together you might actually be able to use it. I fail to see how that is a bad thing. Especially since 3GB of vram isn't that expensive these days. Less than $100 last I checked.

Why would they design a card $100 less expensive that suffers from lack of vram in multi GPU usage scenarios? That makes just about no sense.

Cards that you purchased separately, over a period of time. You just admitted yourself, Nvidia don't drop their prices - therefore Titans cost was/is obviously an issue

But you guys said 1 gpu is better than 2 ..

Dont get you guys lol

What the hell do you call a 690?

Half the power of a titan, with 1/3 of the memory... then doubled up and put on a single card. The difference between the 690 and the titan is that dual titans is not only faster than 2x690 in quad sli due to scaling (EDIT: In limited cases), but it has the vram headroom to do its job properly.

That, combined with the fact that the Titan simple WILL be on top for the entire 600 and 700 generation, plus a strong contender (possibly) in the 800 series, is why people are buying Titans like there is no tomorrow.

I bought my titan because it is the best there is single GPU right now - I don't mind sli, but I would rather not deal with it if I don't have to. The fact that the 780 turned out to be a titan on a diet just made it an even better deal.
