Hey guys! well if you remember my previous thread I was wondering on SLI Titans vs Quadfire 7990.
In one build I decided on a quadfire 7990 build (Those 8 games are too hard to pass on, i'll handle the slight microstutter and the drivers that will be released soon might fix it).
But what would be good for a second build?
That's where you all come in! I want you to tell me from the 3 options, which is the best?

Tri-SLI GTX 680 (4GB)
SLI Titan
SLI or Tri-SLI 780's when they come out

Key things that need to be known:
I am looking for the best performance setup, do not ask about budget because these two builds will be done with time. I won't be going crazy all at once.
I would also like to know best bang for my buck.
since the 780's price isn't exactly confirmed, lets say it is $500. And it's okay to use the rumored specs for this discussion.
All setups will be watercooled, so lets take cooling out of the way, along with noise, this is all about just performance.

What I plan to be doing is either using a soon to be released Red Harbinger Cross Desk for two builds or two Phantom 820's.

SLI Titans will give the best experience of the cards listed, but 3 GTX 780 will give you better performance.. At least in theory.

Yeah that is expected, I hope the 780 will be impressive in it's release, I also hope for a 5GB version biggrin.gif

No point in Tri Sli 680's.

Its too early too tell really. From what I have been reading around the Titan scales pretty badly, and since the 780 is based off the Titan it might share similar hindrances, more so for TriSLI just wait and see the results for yourself when they are released

Really? I wouldn't think the titan scales badly...
I hope it doesn't share the same problems in the 780 D:
and I know that Tri-Sli will most likely scale badly, but will tri-sli 680/780 compare to an sli titan?
Thanks for your input nonetheless smile.gif

I know it sucks when new flagships come out because you know your going to get more performance but finding out whether or not it was a justified purchase is the other end of that decision lol of course either way you could always throw them back on the market if you dont like them and grab something else
