I think mine is too, especially when I play cpu intensive games like bf3 and crysis 3. That's why I'm waiting on haswell to get a new cpu.

Dooooooes my mobo count? Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3.

Yes this rig was a pre built rig, now I'm slowly replacing the parts in it. You have no idea how much I want rid of this mobo + PSU. (mobo limiting my overclock, and PSU can't support a better graphics card)

Is the motivation behind this thread "cheap and crappy" or "cheap but surprisingly good"?

I'll put in for one of the latter: ASRock FM2A75M-DGS

It's a $55 motherboard that has served an A10-5800K of mine well for quite a while. I built a system based on that pair for a friend of my uncle as well and he seems quite happy with it.

Just in case it needs to be crappy, I think the MSI K9A2 Platinum probably qualifies. It's the only motherboard I've ever had that managed to kill a system via mechanical failure (which induced a short). Quite impressive, imo.

The plastic clip broke and let the spring it was retaining fall out which caused a short somewhere and caused both the motherboard and power supply to die.
