I was asking about others observations thumb.gif

Could you elaborate more about what "model" has a price of 620$, reference or non-reference?

Not exactly sure what you mean by this but my general take on the card would be that it's obviously great hardware, better than AMD will get out for a while, good nice high end GK110 for the masses, and all in all offers good specs, features and performance.

However the price is going to make it or break it.

Couldn't someone get round this with soldering/modding?

There's always ways to get around stuff by hardmods. If you're willing to solder you'll always get nice stuff. One 50K VR is enough to give a Titan full voltage control.

E: even though the post you quoted isn't accurate lol

must admit it does look plastic in some of them shots but that doesn't bother me, it still looks nice and if it is plastic then it wont be as expensive so it is a win all round imo

would be nice if it isn't plastic though biggrin.gif

I don't know about any where else, but here in Oz, this will cost 800+, that's how it goes down here. Titans retail for 1200, so i rekon 800 to start of with local is what we'll get. Not that I plan to buy it local. We have no customs tax etc, so as long as I can get it from a reputable dealer, I will not be paying that much. I expect 700US, in the US on release.

I meant that you post quite abit about the upcoming cards so will know more about it. plus you have titan to compare to.

You have the source link, I don't know Chinese, so I can't really tell you more details.
My bet is that $600 cards will feature custom coolers + factory-overclocking, whereas cheaper will use the fancy TITAN cooler.
