Here is the 3DMark Benchmark, again.

well Like I wrote before even that 700$ would be good, since it's only 5% performance less than Titan.
Still if it would be only 599$, it would sell like hot cakes.

Dunno. This seems like a marketing move to justify a higher than $500 price for the GTX 780. First things first, they are using 320.11 drivers for GTX 780? But 314.12 for GTX TITAN and GTX 680? Why not the same driver version for all of them? A lot of users reported a significant increase in benchmarks using 320.14 beta on the TITAN, for instance. Don´t they all use the same architecture?

Like the article says, seems it's landing at a $650-$700 price. Bah, I was hoping for $599, it's going to be expensive here in Sweden. frown.gif

Well, that's not encouraging, to say the least...

Yeah,

Time to skip the 700 series!

Unless you are building a new rig then the 760TI and 770 should be Titan destroyers in SLI.

I may be jumping ship for my next GPU purchase, keep the 480 for some PhysX action...

That price is stupid.

If by some chance the 760 (non-Ti) were to be something like a 6 SMX + 256-bit bus card (instead of a 7 SMX + 192-bit bus card like the 660Ti), imagine the SLI setup that you could get at or under $500...

No games out there today, or tomorrow require a gpu that costs $700-$1k.
If the PC gaming ever heads in that direction, in consoles I trust.
We might see a price drop a week later though.

not entirely true. Depends what resolution and framerate you want to game at. These things (high resolution 120hz) might not be required for you but fro some people they. are, Different strokes for different folks
