yeah I'm not, wouldn't put it passed Nvidia if they changed the price right at the last minute, certainly wouldn't be the first time

its also worth mentioning that that etailer isn't a specialized PC component seller by the looks of it so they more than likely get it at a worse price

The price will prob be higher due to demand at launch, but I doubt Nvidia will price the 780 at a high price.

I love ya breh but shut yo MOWF biggrin.gif

You guys realize this is a game between consumers and companies right??? I guarantee you part of Nvidia's market research is to scour the internet and guage public perception of the card and it's price. They are constantly getting information on how much they can charge us for.

Do you guys realize how much they [Nvidia] leaks about the card months before the release? They do this to see how us nerds react. They lower specs, increase specs, all to judge our reactions. If we're creaming our pants they know they have us. Then they might throw around a few prices to see our reactions. And in the final damn week before release, if we show any god damn weakness or temptation they will up the price last minute if they know we will pay.

They had us by the balls for at least a year now with Titan's rumored performance and specs. They know people are dying for another card and they will shove a dagger in our chests if they can see us shaking in desire.

This is the problem with the internet, it's like negotiating for a car, except the dealer has us by the balls because they can read our minds and know exactly what we're thinking and how desperate we are.

Public demand and desperation for these cards is easy to spot, if gamers knew how to present themselves we'd be paying a lot less.

We all need to grow a pair and not show our hands.

Lol, OK how about this: "Nvidia, I am not going to buy any of your 780's no matter what you price them at because I already have two better cards in my rig! So there!" tongue.gif

Insert gtx680 is 100 dollar more expansive than a gtx670 argument here.

Mainstream cards have had fixed price points since the 200 series if not longer. In GK110 territory, rules no longer apply. So whether the 780 is priced $500, $850, or anywhere inbetween, rules are getting broken

We're all acting like a bunch of virgins who panic at the slightest interest from a girl. Then the chick knows that she can use us for as much as she can.

It's like dating, it's a game of interest and the least interested party always wins.

I meant that they priced it way higher while it only was little faster.

EVGA got some balls advertising GPU BOOST 2.0 as a good feature...
Also what is that about them being #1 well in costumer support they are but their folding team is no more biggrin.gif
