If there was no Titan, than the expected price would absolutely be $499 just like the 480, 580 and 680 (or maybe $549 since there is no new card from AMD). So the question is, does Titan skew the pricing for mainstream cards or not.

Where are you getting 3 days later for launch? The GTX 580 and GTX 680 both had retail availability when the NDA expired.
