I understood exactly what you meant. But if the 670 was $400 and the 680 was $425, it'd be kind of pointless to have the 670 even exist. The top card is always marked up with a premium to hit the people that put top of the line over price/performance.

I think we know for a fact that NDA lifts on the 23rd because that's when TTL's countdown to his live review of the 780 is...

I've said $599 all along but seeing the finalized performance and the massive success that Titan has been at $1k, I'd guess they will charge $699 for the 780. Could be wrong but its definitely NOT going to be $500...

If there was no Titan, than the expected price would absolutely be $499 just like the 480, 580 and 680 (or maybe $549 since there is no new card from AMD).  So the question is, does Titan skew the pricing for mainstream cards or not.

Where are you getting 3 days later for launch?  The GTX 580 and GTX 680 both had retail availability when the NDA expired.

Lol, GPU prices are starting to get ridiculous. I remember when I bought a HD 4850 for £130 in 2008 and ran all games at the time easily. I wonder what it will be like in year 2016. 2 grand for a top end single GPU biggrin.gif
