Anyone who broadcasts that they "will" get something, most likely "will never" get it.
Anyone who wanted a Titan at $1k has already bought one. No one is waiting for 780 if they wanted to get a Titan, especially if they are willing to pay $300 for an extra cluster and netting a whopping 3gb of additional unused VRAM. rolleyes.gif

That was very tactless and thoughtless. I was waiting to see how the whole thing paned out to make an informed buying decision. As for unused vram I am running 1440 and heavy mods so I want as much vram as I can get.

Well the supllier always has thecards for say for retailers atleast 3 days before release. My 680 was priced a week before, my 590 was priced 4 days before
post #327 of 1081
I would've thought the retailers would still be subject to NDA?

Price it to high and people that were going to wait a month for stock will wait for the 9000 series. Dont forget these are cards that cant be sold as a titan so it doesnt mean it needs to cost the same. Look at the 670gtx as a perfect example. 100-150$ cheaper at laucnh over the 680. 680 was still out of stock everywhere.
not to mention the lack of any games that will require that type of hardware in the near future. I mean what is there coming out this year that a 7970/680 can't already play well.

on a single 60hz screen of course.
