OC scaling is excellent on the Titan. Even with a throttling bios TPU and [H] saw ~20% increases.

Same should be expected of the 780. Of course the asic quality might be a bit lower but still.

Why should the scaling be "bad" if it is almost the same card as a Titan?

What is "asic" quality? Sorry guys, do not know any of abbreviations.

The price is the only thing I'm not excited about lol. Personally don't see why people are excited for the 770, it's a 680 with slightly higher clocks and correct me if I'm wrong GPU Boost 2.0.

The ASIC quality attempts to measure the quality of a GPU in terms of overall functionality and presence of defects.

Its more from an architectural POV, really has nothing to do with titan but with keplar. But even keplar isn't "bad" so to speak. for a 30% oc on a 680, you recieve ~ a 20% increase in performance, so a 2/3 overall ratio. Titan is the same as well as will the 780. You may see a bit better ratio with titan/780 because of the increased bus width.

You actually see much better gains with the Titan (and most likely with the 780 since it's also GK110)

right, why i said a 780/titan will see a better ratio because of bus width. Also, would like to see the boost clock they used first then second, would help a bit more in understanding the %'s as because you know, the boost clock jumps around and isn't necessarily running at what is set. Point being a 21% increase on a 20% oc.

crysis 3 bench. So going from stock of 875mhz to a oc of 1137 (both bounced down ~20 mhz durring testing), which is a 30% oc, nets 19% actual performance. So as i said , a 2/3 ratio or so.

the other games fall in @ 20%, 18%, and 16%, so 18% seems to be the mean which is close enough to 2/3

this is with a 30% overclock, not the 16% you stated. The clocks above are what they used @ [H].

This is one example but it is a trend

Both had cards that throttled somewhat due to the BIOS. Both at stock and at OC'd speeds but H at least had a card that stock boosted to 993MHz max and OCd to 1137max.

E: to your previous post. The frequency on the titans lowers after a while. The stock results start much higher just as well as the OC'd results stoop lower. Both should throttle about as much. So it's not as straight forward as you make it out to be. This is why I hate Titan overclocking reviews. They never really go into how the card acts during a load situation which you need to understand to grasp the gains.

I'm looking forward to the 770 if it's equal to a 680, but close to the price of a 670.
