PSU have always a lose of 5% efficiency per year (Don´t know the real amount, just to say an example), and no, I don´t think there can be a real problem, just that It will last longer than other PSU imagine after 5 years it draws 850w, and your PSU has a 7 year warranty so I think there´s no problem at all!
It doesn´t produce more heat, maybe a light coil whine becouse the the PSU transforms a lot of energy and send it back to the wall cable
And, what made you wanted to buy a 1050W PSU for a 450-500W system?
