Great comparison. Which of the keys did you choose then?

As you mentioned that the Ducky boards are available in your area, are they within reason price-wise for you there?
I spent months contemplating various CM boards, and similar brands, also looking for "bang for the buck". Then I decided to increase the budget a bit, and looked at the Filcos, DasKeyboard, WASD, etc.
I always kept going back to the Ducky boards, they just looked right to me, and had a decent range of keys and configurations available. Plus I wanted a backlit board, so it was a no-brainer for me.
I finally ordered a 9008S2, MX Browns, with Ducky's Yellow led's, which kind of have a golden glow.
Very reasonable price at PChome, and only $10 for shipping. I should have it in the next day or two, so I'll let you know how if I think it was worth the wait.

I'm in the exact situation you were. I'm contemplating on the CM keyboards but I can't get over not going for the Ducky as they are really good according to what I've read. How much did you get it for? They're around $143 in our country. I'm just thinking if it's really worth it of an investment just for a keyboard?

That's nearly the same as I paid. As I live in Canada, there are none available here. I ordered mine from PChome in Taiwan, it was about $138 US, plus the $10 for shipping.
Your price is very good in the Philippines, for a Ducky board.

I also questioned paying that for a keyboard, but I have no regrets now, the more I hear about Ducky's, the better I feel!

Argh, I hate you! smile.gif You're good in converting me to the dark side.

And yes, I was really surprised that Ducky keyboards were even available here.

I know what you mean, after watching a few videos on the one I ordered (I had to dig to find the Yellow led version) I felt like saying "Stop torturing me!"tongue.gif
Here's a short example:

I had to get the US version with Chinese also printed on the keycaps, but it looks kind of cool.

Cool! Lol.

Now, even Filcos are available here. The Majestouch Ninja is available here with the brown switch. Which is better between the Filco and Ducky?
IMO, Filco >= Ducky depending on which model you choose.

Generally I would say Filco comes out slightly ahead.

most people will say the filco is overall sturdier and feels "better". One is due to the fact that Filco uses costar stabilizers. Ducky is generally well known for the switch options as well as the fact that they have the largest variety of LED backlit keyboards(I think). If you don't want backlit keyboards, the FIlco will probably do you better.

That's the thing, it depends on whether you want a backlit board or not. I'm old, and I like to unwind with some good gaming in a dark room after the day is done:p
If you don't need the backlighting, certainly the Filcos are good boards, although I'm not concerned with the Costar vs Cherry stabilizer thing, perhaps after a while when I'm more anal about mech. boards, but not now.
