Is my EVGA GTX 580 Fried? - Page 3

Not sure, but I broke the fan cables. So I'm going to have to replace it with an aftermarket cooler, also my pc was having issues picking the signal up from the GPU. Despite windows booting up fine (can hear it). Not sure if it's my MB or GPU. Either way gonna have to get a new fan and use the on board card for now, once I figure out how to get an image with it.

Okay so trying to use the on board video but due to me installing drivers on my hard drive it won't get a display from the on board. I've tried resseting cmos, removing the battery. And taking out all hard drives, nothing is getting it to use the on board video. Can anyone help me get it to reset? Even switching bios doesn't work! frown.gif

The motherboard very well may be the issue. It's the only thing thats changed as you said.

Yep, never had these problems with any other board. Even after a replacement, this board is still the worst I've ever had. My old ASRock worked right away with no issues, different story here...
