Could a 650ti boost which i will overclock beat a 660 for a cheaper price. - Page 2

The 660 is 192bit so no need for 3gb on that card its wasting money... And you would much better served with a 7850/70 they are as good as the 660Ti if not better (and cheaper) but its your money do as you wish. What 500w Modular PSU you went for?

True for squirrel cage fan cards but disastrous for axial fans

In my experience with axial fans, pulling cold air in is more effective than exhausting hot air. If you pull cold air in, the hot air has to be pushed out somewhere.

managed to find a way to fit a 660ti in my budget does that help? is the 3gb one as well. oh and it is the only choice of 500w modular power supply was one of corsair's but looks like a bargain of one for the fact it is modular.

Alternatively, get a 7870.

actually, if you can get a 660 ti 3GB, get a 7950 instead; it's around the same price.

offtopic.gif Why do you guys keep telling him to buy an AMD card?....

Now back on topic, you dont really need a 3gb 660 ti, unless it was around the same price of the 1.5gb it's a waste.

I know 660ti beats it on stock speeds but when the 7950 is oc'ed it blows the 660ti out of the water I think but I am not sure on that. I am fine with getting the 660ti 2gb.
