So the new Gaming mobos look pretty neat. The eye candy appeal is certainly there even if it is gimmicky. What I really dislike about current Intel MSI boards is the lack of pci slots. I still run a Creative Fatality Pro Gamer X-fi card. It's been pretty great.

I really don't want to purchase another card seeing as this one is perfectly functional. How is the MSI Gaming onboard sound? I really would hate to give up my card for the new mobo and hate the sound quality because I am not going to invest in a new sound card. I also fear interference I remember the last time I used onboard sound when I would scroll with the mouse wheel I'd hear it in my headphones.
