what are you suggesting? ocn staffs to be middle men? extra work for no profit?
and even if they agree about that, how are they going to do that anyway? the only way to check if the key is still available is to activate it.

If that is the only legitimate reason why, that seems just childish. If the majority want to see virtual items being sold, wouldn't it be in your own interest to allow it?
I mean they can do whatever they want as site owners, but I'm just throwing out an opinion.

Thats why the middleman gets the money from the buyer.
The seller gives the key to the middleman, who then gives it to the buyer, who activates it via screenshare in Skype.
Middleman then gives the money to the seller if the key does indeed work, if not, back to the buyer.

Who would be the middlemen?
Not OCN staff, we have enough to do and do not want the liability.
Not OCN members, we do not want to pass the liability off to other members.

Still think it should be aloud if you have proof of the owned CD key. thats all I am saying, duh I could or anyone else could easily go to another forum, but don't you think its best to keep more people here for more things? Me personally would rather help this community than some other random. not to mention MAYBE having to build some rep to sell said items.

just saying, most places will start to listen if enough members say they want this or think this should be an option, me persoanlly i could care less, I would only trade it or give it away like i did my last two boxed versions of games I did.

While the marketplace is at your own risk for all transactions there are simply more problems with digital items that we are not comfortable with.

There is simply no way to verify to keys have not been used by the seller prior to sale/the buyer prior to a refund.

The games are free, you paid $220 for a GPU and got some games with it, anyone purchasing the GPU before or after the promotion will pay $220 for a GPU with no games.

AMD/Nvidia/whoever is usually fine with these being sold, but OCN management/staff do not want them sold here.

If the entire thread is at our own risk, then I don't see what is the big deal then. If you get ripped off that's your problem, not the sites.

Please see my other posts for the reason we don't allow/want them sold here

Yeah, I've been responding to every one. So anything we receive for free we're not allowed to sell because we're not supposed to "profit" from "relationships"? That's bologna.

Even so, I paid my $230 for the GPU + the games. The games being free is somewhat of an opinion if I had to buy anything to get them.

The site is not reliable for bad transactions, soooo what is the big deal? The majority that sell things frequently have enough reputation that I would think this wouldn't be a problem. Is there a petition or a suggestion board or SOMETHING that I can suggest for the site and it's TOS?

I love the forum, and yes I know I could sell my Blood Dragons and Bioshock on other forums, but I like this forum biggrin.gif
