hi guys

firstly i tried my 840 pro 256gb on sata 3 supported samsung laptop and it was so hard to install fresh windows.system hanged ,and hanged again when tried to format it etc..finally i could get installed the fresh windows 8 and writing speeds were around like 4 MB/S it was like a joke.

after i installed hd tune and saw that Interface CRC Error Count and the description on it was like may caused by a damaged cable etc...

then i bought the 128 gb version of it .i and i had no problems while installing fresh windows and there was no errors in hd tune.reading and writing speeds were awesome.

then i installed it on my desktop pc and my speeds are very normal actually excellent. But i still had the error i mentioned above "Interface CRC Error Count " what can be the problem?i changed the cable with the new one new sata cable.but the error is still there.

i installed samsung magician software and crystal disk info and ssdlife pro all are saying that ssd is in good health.but what is it on hdtune?

I am not sure, never had this problem with my 840 pro. I would definitely contact Samsung customer support and ask them if they have seen this before. Chances are they have, and they may be able to replace your drive.
