If your HDD vibrations are already decoupled from the case, look at an enclosure for the HDD. Google "grow up japan smart drive" or "gup japan smart drive". There's something similar from Scythe I think. Those HDD enclosures are for muffling the whistling noise of the platters spinning, and the clatter of accessing the disk. The box goes into the 5.25 inch drive bay.

That one will probably slowly cook the HDD, but this won't be a problem if you have enough hate for the HDD because of its noise.
