Ubuntu Emac mod, planning

Thread Starter
My other mods are nearly finished (gold and red SG09, with volenti cooler), so i need a new project.
I'm going to mod an Emac to have and LCD and normal PC parts, it will be air cooler and use old parts, at least to begin.

Mods:
LEDs
Some painting
Blow holes
ATX/ITX conversion
Force an LCD in
Replace DVD slot with tray drive or card reader
Replace everything with an apple logo with something Ubuntu based
Smoke chamber (with LEDs/lasers, idea from AtomicMPC)

What else could i do? Has anyone done this before?
I have access to a lot of these, both the solid white ones and the semi-transparent ones.

Not sure of anyone did do it before as the Emac's were educational machines so finding them here in Europe is at least unlikely. (I've never even seen one)
But as it is pretty similar with the imac G3 you could look at those for some guidance.

i did some looking to day:
Imac (with floating monitor): connectors for monitor suck
Emac: To flimsy, breaks when i try to pull it apart
CRT TVs: as above
as a result, i'll either mod my Xbox360, old CMstorm case, a G5 desktop or a RF radio i found.
