I need Click to Disc 1.0. Anyone?

Hi. My dad has a VAIO VPCEA3BFX, I reinstalled Windows and all the preinstalled Vaio stuff was lost. The thing is that my dad uses the VAIO for basic video editing (using windows movie maker), and he used the "click to disc" software that came preinstalled in order to be able to convert the DVDs to MPG, so that each MPG file can be imported into movie maker. I've searched third party softwares that replaces it; and there are TONS of softwares that can do a conversion, but it takes way too long, like 2 hours per DVD, but the Click to Disc didn't make a conversion, it made something different that splitted a DVD into many MPGs very very fast, and almost automatically (you insert dvd and the program automatically starts and asks you if you want to import the dvd). Then, there is a software called VOB2MPG that kind of works like Click to Disc but didn't really work well for me (the MPG file couldn't be imported into movie maker).
So I tried to download the Click to Disc software from sony page, but there's only available from version 1.2 and newer, but those are UPDATES that update the preinstalled program, but I can not find ANYWHERE the program. When I try to install "click to disc 2.0" the setup starts but then it says "It can't be installed, because click to disc is not installed".

So yeah, I'd be glad if somebody can give me a version of click to disc that actually let me installs it.

Thanks!

You should be able to download it directly from Sony.
Try the support page for his laptop.

Or maybe this.

As I said, I can only download updates for the program on the sony page, but not the main program itself frown.gif . I already downloaded what you shared here, but it didn't let me install it because the click to disc software was not installed.

Ok I solved it. I download "VAIO Care", and FROM THERE downloaded the click to disc (which is now called PMB). I wonder why Sony makes everything complicated, why not just being able to download everything from their website, instead I had to download that "vaio care" thing. At least it worked.
