looking for a new phone

Thread Starter
I am not a iphone touchscreen guy, my trusty nokia 6288 seems to be going the way of the dodo so I think its time to upgrade. All the phones I see these days are iphone like samsung galaxy or htc stuff. all glossy little brick. I want something with buttons. I was thinking of getting a used n95 or something. anybody got a good suggestion other then a smart phone. just a phone to upgrade from my 6288 that has music, photos, text, calls and stuff like that. Prepaid sim.

thanks for any help.

In no other circumstances would I recommend this, but if you want something with buttons then get a BlackBerry

Yeah i hate how crap the market is now for phones, You cant even have both these days.

Personally i want the Blackberry Q10 but that costs more than a iphone, Absolutely ridiculous, I have a Blackberry Torch 9800 (Or get the 9810 as its just a upgraded version) It does everything, Except play games which i would very rarely do anyway, Has a proper twitter app and all the social pants other phones do but easy direct access to my email a awesome notification bar a locked O/S that works amazingly well compared to android

Its pretty much the best you can get tbh, But on the other hand if you dont care about apps and just the things you stated, I would recommend the Nokia n96 16GB, You can also put a 32GB micro SD in there and it takes good photos too, also has a excellent music player.

I think I would have to agree seeing as how phones these days have less and less buttons.
The windows phone 8 has 3 buttons on the phone (they are touch sensitive tough) but it is a nice phone, very easy to transfer media onto also.

Personally coming from my phone history, Blackberry 8900, Blackberry 9300, Blackberry 9800, (Windows Phone) HTC Radar, HTC 8S, (Currently) Samsung Galaxy SII. I would get one of the Blackberry Curve or Bold, because the Torch runs like ***** and the touch screen isn't great.

Nobody has asked the question yet so OP, what's your budget (inc. currency) and where are you from?
