If it's within 14 - 30 days you could go to Best Buy with an ad for the lower price along with your receipt and they'll refund the difference. I did it a long time ago when I bought my Sidewinder X6. Just make sure the Wal-Mart Price is current... or you could just look up what amazon is selling it for as well.

Hopefully you paid with a credit card - if you did - you can request a charge-back for the purchase because the product purchased was not the specified product being sold, and your credit company should honor that under consumer protection laws.

This just happened to me too!

http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-series-Gaming-Mice/G500-mouse-in-G500s-box-from-Wal-Mart/m-p/1041985#M22147

Wal-Mart had it for $49.88, G500s box, sealed, but brand new G500 in the box. They were kind of...dumbfounded...when I showed them. I called Logitech on the phone, and they had never heard of it before. The guy said he had escalated the case and that Logitech would "investigate." I can't believe Logitech still doesn't know about it after at least several weeks now. Seems like something fishy went down at Logitech's factory overseas.

Honestly, you should keep the G500 instead of the G500s, if you want to save yourself from that whining noise from the ceramic capacitor in the G500s.
