Mouse won't respond after Hibernation

Hey this is a problem that has been getting me really ticked off lately. When my computer is in hibernation I can move my mouse to wake it up. The lights will turn on but no matter what I do it won't respond. Even I try unplugging/replugging it, it still does not respond and I have to then restart my computer for it to work. I have already updated the drivers and I disabled any power saving features for it and for Widows 7. I have checked the BIOS and I cannot find any options related to my problem.

Any recommendations?

When I first got my Razer Naga this happened to me when resuming from sleep (no hib with an SSD). The fix was moving it to a USB 3.0 slot. There were some registry hack fixes but they weren't working for me.

Has it always been like this? I have the same motherboard as you and have never experienced anything similar.

Have you tried testing it with other mice apart from the Spawn? If not I would recommend doing so, as it may be a problem with the mouse itself.

Well I just got back from work and moving it to the USB 3.0 Slot did seem to work, but I have a feeling it was a fluke, and it did take several seconds for it to kick in.

It is something I have seriously considered. I have had this mouse for so long that paint has come off. I just want to see if there are any other theories before I upgrade my mouse.

If you have another mouse at hand, try it out with your computer. I'm sure that you could borrow one from a friend/school/work if you don't yourself have another one.

First test it in the same usb port as the spawn, and then others.
