Thanks for all the help.... I'm a happy Noob!!!

well I built my I5 3570K build about two months ago...

And since then I have been reading and asking questions on here then tweaking... reading and asking questions on here and tweaking some more...

as of last night I'm happy with what I have now!!!

I Have my I5 clocked to Only 4.2Ghz cos I did not see that much of a jump in speed at 4.4Ghz....

so I'm at 4.2Ghz with a voltage of 1.152 now with a temp of 25c normal load (working, surfing Internet, ect.) and 56c Full load (Prime 95)...thumb.gifthumb.gif

Ambient Temp is around 16-18c...

And I'm Cooling it with a Coolermaster V8 with a Noctua NF-F12 PWM inside it.. And 3 other Noctua NF-P12 PWM fans as Case fans....

I have the Cooler fan (NF-F12) running at 1200rpm at idle and 1500rpm at full load and the case fans (NF-P12's) running at 900rpm at idle and 1300rpm at full load....

and When at full load all I can hear is the air going in the front of the case nothing more....

So as I said... I'm a happy Noob biggrin.gif

Thanks again to all that helped and this site for all the info to help ME do this with out blowing up my comp..

Rob.

Beautiful temps, your ambient temps must be really good.

Thanks there are not to bad now at all..... My house never get's that hot...

In the afternoon they rise a bit 1-3c... but idle never goes above 30c..

I'm going to stay with these settings till I get my 550D and H100i then I will shoot for 4.4Ghz...Hopefully keeping the same temp's I have now....rolleyes.gif

Well.....

Today I was looking at some youtube vid's about De-Lidding...Having nothing to do I desided to give it a go... (took less than 10 min to get the lid off with a razor blade)

And i'm glad I did... I now have my 4.4Ghz that I wanted when I was building this Computer with temps of 60-62c across the four cores...thumb.gif

and i'm only using AS5 between the die and IHS... **** so before De-Lidding I was Getting 78-80c @ 4.4Ghz now i'm on 60-62c @ 4.4Ghz using prime 95)

I now have some ULC on order to see if I can get them down some more....biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

MAN I'M HAPPY!!!thumb.gif
