Replacement for Nvidia 250 GTS - Page 2

No budget constraints so I might go for a 650(someone said that the 700 series is about to launch, so maybe the 600 series will be cheaper?) or 77xx. One more noob question, does the manufacturer of the GPU matter nowadays? Different clock frequencies, RMA, free goodies??

I agree on a 5770 used if your on a tight budget, cheap and an upgrade in the power department to boot.

If you want some years out of this GPU, I'd take a bit of CPU bottleneck. I figure if they can pair a 7970m to a mobile A10, the tri-core can be paired with a HD 7870 [$210/194AR] as it is basically the same graphics chip or HD 7870 XT [$250/230AR] and with 4 games included it's the best deal in town.

MFCTR differences include:

warranty
Clockspeed
MFCTR bundles
Cooling solutions
Pricing/rebates

Choice is down to personal preference. I personally buy what is cheapest.
