AMD CPU got stuttering in games ?

By some reviews i saw that the AMD CPUs have usually an high frames latency, that means with AMD product is easier to have stuttering in games compared to Intel without Vsynch ?

Can you see this two reviews, specially games section please :

It mainly effects dual VIDEO CARD set-ups. With the latest batch of drivers being released by AMD and others (5.13b) the issue has been resolved somewhat, not fully resolved but much better. I was running a pair of crossfired 7770's for a few months and had NO issues with stuttering at all. I was playing AC III, World of Tanks and Crysis3. Even with these low-mid range range cards there was none of the stuttering, or none that I ever noticed. I am also running an AMD FX-8350 as my cpu, most days I don't run it overclocked as there is really no need for it. With this combination I never ran into any problems with the "stuttering" that so many claim to be plagued by. I do not doubt the problem, as there have been driver release targeting the issue, but I believe that some people, namely fanboys throw it out there to disparage people with hardware from the other "team" Just my 2cents.gif

this reviews speak about single card and not necessary AMD, also GTX680

I don't know what point you're trying to make? You linked Skyrim, which is a game that's notoriously bad on AMD CPUs.

And then the Intel fluctuates a lot more (and fluctuation causes microstutter, not frame time being higher).

I'm not missing anything right?

Lower, consistent frame time = higher FPS with least micro-stutter
higher, consistent frame time = lower FPS with less micro-stutter
lower, inconsistent frame time = higher FPS with more microstutter
higher, inconsistent frame time = lower FPS with most microstutter

That's how it breaks down, right?

At least Tom's had a strong Intel benchmark and a strong AMD benchmark, and it's not a "look, Skyrim, Shogun 2, and Starcraft 2! AMD BLOWS FUDSTORM INCOMING!!"

Look all reviews not only page linked, there are BF3, Crysis2, Batman Arkham City and Civilization V not only Skyrim.

For Skyrim case is everytime a game, a good game and i dont understand because i must consider it like nothing because not run with AMD.
Seems an excuse to justify AMD products, but im here only to understand the question with an argumentative discourse. wink.gif

Well AMD cpu's tend to have lower min fps even of the averages are close, that would explain the stuttering.
