Can't do it, PhysX is to important to the games I play (immersion), Plus I had a few 7XXX series cards and hated he stuttering in skyrim, from what I hear its still there.

How is the 6xx series a failure, when the low end kepler 660 was as powerful as the last gens flagship 580? I'm sorry but if you get your mid/lower tier card to perform as good or better than your recent flagship GPU, I call that a screaming success.

Selling small dies as top end cards and commanding 66% of the market (and growing) is failure now?

Titan outselling the stuttering mess HD7990. GTX 680 and 670 outselling equivalent AMD cards. Yep, it's a failure alright.

To be fair, if they fix the stuttering on the 7990, it will be an incredible piece of hardware. There is a video floating around of some driver or another running a side by side comparison, and it is so buttery smooth that I question my Titan purchase watching it.

All that i know is, i have been a lurker on this sight for a few years, became a member a couple of months ago, i have owned Nvidia cards since my ATI 4850 died, and i have yet to go to a AMD thread to comment on those guys cards/cpu, yet, it seems that the majority of folks discussing Nvidia cards are guys with AMD swag, what's up with that? [it's an honest question, not trying to flame, i just find this phenomena strange]

Nvidia is on every major hardware forum right now seeing our reactions to this, and when they see that the masses are desperate and given up they will bump prices.

So don't think your "Oh well...$699 ain't so bad" comments go unnoticed.

IF they fix it lol. this is why i will never got ATI again, they blow cause of crappy drivers. I had a 4000 series and the drivers NEVER worked right i was never able to even access catalyst control panel even after windows reinstall, driver sweeps, i mean everything was tried, what a joke. Have gotten one bad Nvidia card out of about 6 now and it was RMA and got new one in like 3 days and no issues since the new one got to me. yeah they have occasional driver issues on NEW games but always fix it with the next update, and only improve from there. I also had a AMD cpu at one point and was NOT happy with its performance either brings me to say AMD/ATI is cheap crap trying to compete with the Cadillacs.

Former crossfire owner myself here. Had dual mobility 4870 on an Alienware m17x-R2. Worst purchase I´ve ever made. Now I have two rules of thumb:

#1 Don´t buy gaming laptops. Stick to your smartphone, nintendo or sony portable systems if you want mobile gaming.
#2 Avoid crossfire systems.
