Qnix and xstar korean monitors have been ALMOST guaranteed to hit 100hz. getting 120hz is definitely doable for most of them as well but does take some tweaking and can have side effects such as screen uniformity. My monitor after LOTS of tweaking is at 142hz with no ill effects but i run it at 120hz most of the time due to movies and that i cannot hit 144hz stable. It is risky, ALL overclocking is on any component. You can't buy a new processor because so and so got it to 6ghz and then get down when you can't that is the nature of overclocking(and the adventure). I don't regret my Qnix but i got lucky. You might not or you may have the same luck i did.
