Well I don't visit Reddid, it's an obscure site somewhere on the internet. I visit Anand, Tom's Hardware, Hard something. And when I want to chat with septic of the Internet, it was the second name of the RPGCodex. Which reminds me I didn't seen Zmag several years.

I always thought Reddit is something like a Wired. And content of Wired is hit or miss, majority of it's articles are Slackdot inspired anyway.

Can someone with Intel heatsink and I7 clock his Ivy to 3.9 then to 4.0 on Intel blower and tell us if he received at least 78 degrees?

You must have been living in a cave for a long time, i have seen Reddit for a while now and NO, it's FAR FROM obscure.

Cinema4D on my desktop, and my Video conversion software that uses all cores the machine has available. More cores! If AMD can get it right, I'll switch in a hot second.

The other leaked test had 4.5@ 1.14V, although they didn't show temps.

IMO you need to re-evalute what sites you visit, b/c while you might htink what you read is legit, is it far from it. Except Tom's hardware, they are nice.

Proper non-chinese-translation reviews will be out soon. Just wait until then.

You don't think Anandtech or HardOCP are legit?

It's legit, hitting 100c stock. See page 3.

http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTU3Nzg1Nzg4.html

Look at the youkuu (Chinese version of Youtube).

1.2vcore, .8vvrm (CPU VRMS), 100c stock settings.

I am pessimistic about Haswell but the heatsink has to be not seated properly or something.

vcore is vvrm * 1.3 in this video and CPUZ is reading vvrm. All those leaks with .9 or 1.1v CPUz shots are reading vvrm, not vcore. 1.1vvrm is probably about 1.43vcore and .9vvrm is probably about 1.17v if the relationship stays between vvrm and vcore.

It looks to me like these big 5ghz Haswell OCs are all pumping big vcores. I am going to be surprised if Haswell clocks better than IB, 22nm 3d transistor is bust for overclocking unless you have ln2 or something extreme.

Hes not talking about that. Hes talking about reddit being touted as a reliable and trustworthy source.
