My mouse pointer is frozen now, it won't move anymore!

Hey all,
I have Gigabyte M6900 Optical Gaming Mouse which worked great for the last 6 months.
It all started when I got my Win7 SP1 x64 to wake up from sleep then it got frozen!
I connected it into another pc and it won't move. I tried to refresh mouse's firmware by running its upgrade tool which has the same version (v16) with the one inside but still no luck!
I also tried another mouse and it worked fine!
So I guess it's dead now, right?!
Thanks for your help!
Regards,
Salaam

You have already troubleshot the problem and determined that the mouse is faulty. How can we be of further assistance?

Well, I thought you have some ideas that might fix it instead of buying & shipping a new one!
btw, I don't want to use the working one permanently since it's missing many features found in the faulty one.
