which cpu is better to go with??? - Page 2

On a HD6850 you won't really feel the difference between the two when it comes strictly to gaming.

So if you want to save money go for 6, if you want the better chip go for 8.

I would say to save a little bit and get the fx6350.

I vote on the 8320, not too expensive and performs like a champ. If u have a micro center near you, you can also get a cpu mobo bundle. 149 for the cpu and 30 bucks for a msi 970a g43 mobo.
I recently build a system around this set up and its pretty good. It also overclocks well so you dont have to worry about cpu bottlenecks.
I was at Micro Center last week and the FX-8320 was on sale for $139.99 otherwise I'd go with the 6350 which is going for $130 on Newegg -- $45 cheaper than the 8320! (On Newegg)

6350 should be fine, especially considering its price.

I'd go with the 8320. More futureproof.

i show a benchmark that was saying that the fx6350 has better single core performance than the fx8320 is this real??

they're exactly the same processor core; the 6350 has a higher clock speed than the 8320 so in theory it would have better single threaded performance. either way these chips are meant to be overclocked, so the 6350 is better for budget minded gaming not requiring a full 8 threads.
