which cpu is better to go with??? - Page 3

The 6350 should be more than adequate for gaming. I will say that if you're paying $139.99 for a 6350 and the 8320 is only $149.99, spend the extra $10.

the fx8320 has 8core or 4cores and 4threads??
Technically it has 8 cores, but some would argue that the modules are the cores and the cores are simply threads.

Four true physical cores and eight logical cores / threads.

I say a quality 500W PSU can handle that.

I just made a similar upgrade. I went from an e6600(not sure how that compares with your e2140) to an fx-6350. My gpu is a 5850. To put it simply, I was bottlenecking like crazy and the FX freed my gpu. Before I could only run BF3 on low with medium textures/ssao/2xAA and would average around 25fps. I can no run it with textures/shadows on ultra and everything else on high, with 2xAA and HBAO and I average 35 at the lowest and 55-60 at the highest.
