I am not sure if PS+ subscriptions go on sale or not, but XBL Gold can be had for under $50 at almost any given time, and gets as low as $30 some parts of the year. I'm sure Amazon will have PS+ subscriptions for sale around the same price.

No they both aren't' great system. the xbox is rather slow with only ddr3 while the ps4 has gddr5 making it miles faster. ps+ has no ads and free games. that only thing that makes sens is buying it for the exclusives.

I honestly don't even notice the ads, I spend 99% of the time in game or in an app. I highly doubt that you or anyone else will be able to notice a difference in the speed of the consoles. They are both built to run their software as fast as possible. Who knows, I could be completely wrong, but neither of us will know until we have the hardware in our hands.

If you wanna support their shady, anti-consumer practices then by all means, buy it. I think fans should make a statement and not buy this console, simply to show them we won't stand for their crap. They're trying to take away your rights as a consumer and you call that good? If at least they'd price their games like on Steam I wouldn't mind but they still sell Halo 3 for 30$.

We are still 5 months away from release, things are bound to change. I hope Microsoft does the same thing that Sony did and changes their policies. Imo this is why they said that there are still decisions being made on those subjects, so that they have room to change them depending on the response from potential customers and what Sony would announce. I 100% agree with you on console game prices of both Microsoft and Sony, I hardly ever buy used games, but I'd like to get some good deals every now and then on "new" games that have been out 6 months - 4 years.

They^ are the incessant children who fueled Gamestop's boom of selling their games.
Instead of keeping them. Because buying a new game for $40 was too difficult for them, so these children hedge their piss-poor buying habits by selling the game. Instead of using self discipline and only buying classics.

Now they own nothing.
I'm sorry, but that's just silly. Hope this is sarcasm.

Newbie, I can't believe to say XCRAP 1, and Sony just turned me into a PS4 fanboy! biggrin.gif

So just tried to cancel my Xbox Live subscription auto-renewal and some BS "An error occured cancelling automatic renewal" message popped up. Searching it on Google it seems it's actually a common problem. I had to call them to cancel it while some guy pretty much interrogated me about why I was cancelling. Then he started a 2 minute marketing campaign for the Xbox One about how they're using 300,000 servers, and it's going to be an "all in one" system, blah blah...I don't want an HTPC I want a gaming console. Nothing they've said or done has impressed me so far. 2cents.gif

Microsoft's probably sweating bullets right now.
