With the xbone, you're gonna be stuck paying $59.99 for all your games, since there'll be no used market to pressure new games into lower prices. If you use a VPN, or travel with your xbone, you might get banned. It's a joke.

No used market != Mandatory $60 games.

MSRP of $60 != Every single retailer selling games for $60.

There's a thing that exists called the retail market where retailers compete with each other to sell new items at competitive prices.

It's the reason why you can type the name of an xbox 360 game in google, click "shopping" and be amazed at how every single game doesn't automagically cost $60.

Some will still be selling a game at MSRP months after launch. Some will never have sold the game at MSRP. And none of it has anything to do with the used market.

There is zero confirmation of whether there will be sales or not.

3.
I literally love how people constantly admit that the only thing they think is good about Steam is cheap games.

4.
If you travel with your XB1, you might get banned? How is this a "thing" and there aren't 100 threads/posts/articles about it?

I don't see any incentive to lower prices when there's no competition from used games entering the market. It hasn't happened yet so we can't know for sure.

I mentioned the free weekends and (more importantly) the ability to log in anywhere and re-download them. What else is there to 'literally' love?

I read it on here, something about region coding violations causing the inability to activate games if the console phones home from a foreign IP.

My guess - MSFT has highly hope Steam lovers will embrace new Console Model: XBOX ONE for steam gamers whomever they targeted for their purpose!

Google it for yourself, if you don't believed me.

Really?
So I can set it into Offline Mode and play my current library for however long I want without internet?
Steam also doesn't require me to have a webcam and mic, either.

Honestly, considering how that post was written I wouldn't have been surprised if it was an educated fanboy trying to shed it in a different light.

Your post is very true. but MSFT will steal a brilliant idea from steam selling games like discount and cheaper. Like MSFT did steal an idea from Sony's PS plus membership with 18 hit collection games of PS3/VISTA, discounts. now M$FT offering XBOX 360 with 2 hit collection games for example. Apparently MSFT wanted competitive against Steam.
