I don't see the problem

So am i understanding this correctly? If you want to play it on a "second account", account meaning xbox live, then you would need your first xbox live account to initially play? If thats what i think it means then you will have to have an xbox live account to even use this console and pay 60 bucks a year or whatever it is they charge you for the service. Hope im wrong, but if that is the case then it looks like it will indeed require an always on internet connection......

I like the look of the new Xbox and new BR drive. Heck yea! Any word on the whole needing to be connected to play games and stuff? I read about disc based games being ripped onto the hdd now.

I estimate the TDP of the APU will be anywhere between 200W and 300W.

If you look at the case itself, it's half open. They're definitely aware of the airflow needed and after the 360 RROD fiasco, I'm pretty sure they're going to use proper TIM.

I don't buy a damn gaming console for that but maybe i'm just too old school of a gamer

Then I supposes MS should ahve consulted you instead of the billions of people that actually watch TV....they are sure to be doomed now...especially without your 2cents.

If you have a TV with HDMI in and a laptop with bluetooth (for a wireless 360 controller + bluetooth keyboard & mouse) and HDMI out, you can make it an all in one "box" which plugs into your TV.

I did that with an Acer laptop. I could play CoD as well on it thumb.gif
