SimCity lied... they didn't use cloud computing. We knew they were lying before they even released the game. They use servers for authentication and such but that's not really cloud computing.
Once again...

Pretty sure that was just for F@H, which a lot of PS3's did do.
Nah not F@H it was one of the concepts of the PS3, maybe a rumour I read it was a while ago, your game could be using processing power from afk ps3s around the world for improved graphics etc. Obviously easier said than done.

Thank you for giving me PERMISSION to play the game I PURCHASED with MY money that I worked for!

I will not be purchasing the next Xbox due to this crap.

I know right.

Imagine buying a bunch of groceries for your family.
The grocery store manager / owner comes over to your house and puts a remote lock on your fridge.
He unlocks the fridge only when he thinks the right person should be able to access your food.

Everyone getting how stupid this idea is?

Can you guys / gals please do me a favor and not respond with "oh look at the entitled comparing games to FOOOOOOOD".
It's called a metaphor. Change the scenario up to your most prized items.

Yeah, after you figure out how to tear the system down, voiding the warranty in the process and then trying to get it to reconized a non specificed brand/type of HDD in exchange. As MS stated, thats what the USB 3.0 jack is for, external storage

And you can install games to it (dumb question but it didn't seem clear to me)? Because I'm pretty sure that just opens the door to hackers and after all...MS is all about preventing them evil customers...I mean pirates from having freedom...I mean choices.

Again, nothing was brought up about that other then they stated that the external HDD will do the same that the internal can do, but thats it.

E3 will answer a lot of questions, till then, crap tons of questions abound with no answers.

LMAO, restricting the used game market is a very BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD idea on their part. Just goes to show how totally out of touch they are with the market and reality. Ugg just watching all the annoying marketeer presenters using their slick marketerio lingo in the unveil was enough to make me queezy. I remember when gaming was populated with passionate nerdy developers, now its full of shark marketeer market share swat analysis tool bags.

I got a banging PC that gets 99% of my game time, but I still found a recent use for my xbox 360 when I bought Halo 4 used for $25 off of craigslist, beat it, then resold it back on craigslist and got my $25 back. Yes, the developer did not make any money on that BUT it still gave me a reason to own my 360. Take away the used game market and you take away my reason to keep a console on hand, which results in ZERO revenue from me.

OH and did anybody else LMAO at them calling the new controller's thumbsticks "precision" because they added some rubber stripping around the edges....looooolllooololol precision on a gamepad....soooo funny
