New Opera UI
Quote:
Opera 14 for Android is built on top of Chromium 26, with a total overhaul of the UI in native code, making it fit well with the latest Android design guidelines. Go get the build from Google Play or point your browser to m.opera.com, and give it a spin!

Other notable parts of the article is that it supports HTML5 audo and more importantly is compatible with Android 2.3 and up! This is what enticed me since my phone didn't get any updates past that so I can't use mobile chrome =(

I use Opera Mini, so presumably this is completely outside scope?

If i recall correctly, there's an "off road" mode built into opera 14 that when activated uses the opera mini servers to bring you websites in the same way opera mini does. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but when I get home today I plan on giving it a go (for science!)

Opera is so damn buggy. I used it for six months and it was annoying, slow, buggy and rendered terribly. I still have the latest version. Opera has some massive issues with image tearing. Anytime you ask for help on their support forums their usual answer is "Your video card is defective, ask for an RMA" I can tell them where they could shove their advice.
