Monitors: x3 BenQ 24" 3D Vision "2" for Nvidia 3D Vision Surround
Keyboard: Logitech G19
Mouse: Logitech G9X

this is what I currently have and would like to step it up a notch, well a huge focking leap to be honest.

It's not every day your wife says "okay" to an idea like this, so I'd like to make it all count. I will have a ton of pics and video that will be posted when it all starts to come into fruition!!!!

I was looking at the new 900D, but for what I want to do/cool I was thinking of spending a bit more and going with a custom MountainMods Case possibly the Extended Ascension with a water barrel on the bottom to match....

Also is it worth the heartache/trouble to do a Custom TEC cooled system or just go with a phase on the CPU and keep it liquid on the gpu's?

I have two EVGA supernovas that will run the MOBO, GFX Cards, CPU and the rest of the core components. I will get at least a 1k or more for the liquid cooling part of the setup depending on if I go with the TEC or the phase for the CPU.....

THIS IS THE LIST THAT I HAVE "THROWN" TOGETHER FOR AN IDEA OF COST..... ONLY TENTATIVE, AND ALL INPUT IS AND WILL BE APPRECIATED....

All prices are from FrozenCpu.com, so they're the only ones for reference as of now...

ex-pmp-100 Bitspower Dual D5 Mod Top Extreme - POM Version (BP-2D5TOPP-BK) $99.99 x2 $199.98

ex-pmp-211 Aquacomputer D5 Pump Motor w/ USB and Aquabus Interface (41093) $134.99 x4 $539.96

fan-995 Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition High Static Pressure 120mm Fan-2 Pack(CO-9050008-WW) $28.99 x25 $724.75

ex-tub-1626 PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT Tubing 1/2"ID x 3/4" OD - 10ft Retail Pack - Onyx Black (PFLEXA10-34-BK) w/ Free Sys Prep $25.99 x1 $25.99

ex-tub-606 Bitspower Ultimate G 1/4 Thread 1/2" ID x 3/4" OD Compression Fitting - Matte Black (BP-MBCPF-CC5) $9.49 x20 $189.80

ex-blc-1125 Bitspower Summit EF CPU Liquid Cooling Block - Intel LGA Series - Black Acetal (BP-WBCPUIAC-CUMBKBK) $79.99 x1 $79.99

ex-blc-1431 XSPC Razor GTX Titan Full Coverage VGA Block - Reference Design $121.99 x4 $487.96

ex-blc-1137 XSPC Razor SLI High Flow Bridge (2 Slot) $11.99 x6 $71.94

cab-240 ModRight CableRight Single Braid M/B 8-Pin to 4+4 12V EPS Extension - Black $7.99 x1 $7.99

ex-blc-1432 XSPC Razor GTX Titan Full Coverage VGA Backplate $30.99 x4 $123.96

That's without the Phobya 1080's that I want also. there'd be about 3-4 of them in this build in the water barrel not to mention the other Rads I'd put in the Ascension itself.

Rough Guestimate about the price is around $2,500 without the case.... I'd like to keep it around 2k if possible

My first post, so if this is in the wrong area I'd like to make sure it goes where it needs to....

You're going to spend 725 dollars on fans? It hurts a little to think about that, even if its not my money.

Well like I said it's all tentative for now, but I'd like to get some really good ideas going for the next couple of weeks so I may have a solid plan when it is time to order.

I know that the "fans" are a bit much, but you can't say that 50+ or so fans of any decent quality is going to be any cheaper. I would love to make this build become a reality within the next month or so.

Just cancelled my back order of the 900D today.....!! It kinda hurt to do so, but I knew I'd never get the case support I'd get from it in comparison to a custom MountainMods!

I'd like to keep it mostly US built and since CaseLabs is not I don't think that I'll go with them. Especially if there's any issues I'd like to be sure that it's right there in my country, so that I may quickly rectify the problem.

Okay, I don't know what I was looking at on their site, but yeah I didn't know what I was talking about when I said they weren't US based...... WHOA!!!

From what I see on their site it looks like they're about the same price for what I'm looking for, but MountainMods looks like they beat them out in the paint department.

Also their construction I don't think is as good as MM's since they're not 2mm thick all around.

I don't know maybe it's me, but to spend this much money I'm having to make sure it's exactly what I want. I really do want those Phobya 1080's in their because that would just be sick to have let alone cooling capability.
