Thanks for your answers! Seems like the PS4 does have the upper hand in hardware too. Let's see how both fare at E3...

There are rumors that Sony may be upping the clock speed on the PS4 AMD CPU from 1.6ghz to 1.8 or even 2.0ghz but that would result in a 60% increase in TDP according to Anandtech.

Yep.
Bye bye xbox, or consoles in general.

On the XBOX One used games BS....I was just reading more into it and the more I read it the more I feel awful about it... but this just occured to me... isnt this potentially going to create price fixing? isnt it also potentially anticompetetive?

Think about it.. Microsoft has created a system wherein certain retailers will be able to buy games off of customers and resell them, While giving a chunk of that back to the publishers, This is all controlled by the publishers, including the amount said retailer pays back to the Publisher in order to resell the used game.. only SOME retailers are going to be in on this system... Now whats to stop certain Publishers from say... Screwing over pricing on the PS4 copy of the SAME game (Making the new copy $15 more expensive for instance) and demanding that said retailer does not accept the PS4 copy of that game in trade lest they lose their ability to take Xbox One games in trade...

This could be used in other ways, Now the publishers could hold this over retailers and say.. retailer-run magazines and such will be forced to print favorable game reviews, Lest the royalty be increased, Their websites could be forced to hide negative customer reviews, Lest the royalty be increased... Less advertising for the competition... Lest the royalty be increased...

Now on the flip side(To try to be FAIR here and not sound biased), This might mean that Xbox One games decrease in price quicker than PS4 games, it will also help Publishers to get a better read on sales numbers to judge demand for sequels and perhaps more information so they know whether to print more copies of a game or not, it might mean less DLC rubbish on launch day even as Publishers feel they dont have to "Buy" your new game purchase anymore.. Potentially, this might mean a discrepancy between PS4 game pricing and Xbox One game pricing with Xbox One games being $60 and PS4 games being $70 or something...

But that said its not worth the loss of control and potentially of choice that this creates in the console market...

Maybe im too cyncial... I dunno...
