What feels the best for gaming ??

my mom will buy me tonight or tomorrow a new keyboard on amazon not too expensive but with very good quality thumb.gif

I hesitate so much between Black and Brown and nowI began to tie me to the sound of blues.

My playing style is very brutal in fps and other games i love sink my fingers well and violently deep into the keys. biggrin.gif

At first I wanted to choose the black but I heard that the lack of tactile brown were better is that true? rolleyes.gif

Looking for the best typing feel in hardcore gaming. I also fear that the brown is too light and do finger hurt if I press hard

I also like to play very quickly especially when I made very fast right left movement while shooting.

I also like to jump around a lot (I play crysis wars a very complete game level gameplay is very platform game)

I fear that too tiring to be black-and less accurate.

I'm afraid the blue are too light and hits hard as I hurt the hand especially the space bar because I often skip.

I would also like to perfectly master the art of hard trickjump with the basic hp 1998 keyboard of my mother for her work he's completely worn tongue.gif

You know a keyboard isn't the equivalent of a clenched fist, right?

And you should be looking at either MX Reds or Browns, not blues or blacks.
Reds are what you want if you primarily game, while browns are excellent if you type a lot while also gaming; they provide a very happy medium. Browns are so nice to type on that I would much rather have a Corsair K70 in Brown than red.

That being said, you should be looking at the Corsair K70 with MX reds (Silver/blue backlight or adonized black/red backlight) and the Logitech G710+ (MX Browns) on your shortlist of keyboards. Some G710+'s have been reported to have backlight rows dying suddenly, though most people don't have any problems at all, so keep taht in mind).

I agree with Falk quite a bit on that. I have blues, browns and reds and the blue/brown are great for typing (I use them for work) but the blues don't feel very great while gaming. The browns aren't bad with gaming, definitely a happy medium. The reds are terrible to type with. Constantly find myself mistyping things on them but with gaming they have a much better feel especially since I play RTS games mostly along with a few FPS the quick keystrokes between 10 or so keys is much smoother than the blues. Personally I like the look of the K70 but to each their own.

Never tried blacks but from what I've read a lot of people are put off because of their actuation force being high. I find the blues to be pretty stiff even and the blacks are even stiffer so definitely a no go for me. Having to hold crouch/sprint keys on my blues gets irritating after awhile.

It really does come down to preference though. Should probably either buy each of them used and resell or test them at a local shop to see what you like the best. I would be happy with blues and reds and just swap out depending what I'm doing.

Okay, personnaly i think i prefer heavy actuation i hate my the light actuations of my old rubber dome i like switches sink very deep and a little heavy to press this is why i should choose steelseries 6gV2 with blacks switches.

I think brown reds are so far overated for very brutal gaming.

Black for nervous gamers who play fps
Brown or blue for very quick typist like Koreans in starcraft 2

Its my though smile.gif

I have Cherry blues on my Corsair K90 and Cherry browns on my Filco and I have to say I prefer the browns much better for gaming and typing .

I have blues on my Filco MJ2 and whilst not usually recommended for gaming, it's all about preference. I haven't experienced any issues whilst playing games and it's a joy to type on.

If you prefer a stiffer switch, the blacks are probably the way to go?

I'm not sur i saw a ton of comparatives video on youtube about switch sound difference but the majority of opinions say the brown is the best but i prefer the speed return of blacks that looks to my eyes and ears more fluid and for gaming et sound feel of blue is the sound of switches i prefer.

It would be best to try them all for 1 day and pick the best but after a good opinion on geekhack forum for the best fps are black and blue after

Otherwise my most important question : is the black keys have a shot softer than the brown?

I hate soft hits mad.gif
