It would be best to try them all for 1 day and pick the best but after a good opinion on geekhack forum for the best fps are black and blue after

Otherwise my most important question : is the black keys have a shot softer than the brown?

I hate soft hits mad.gif

Here's my comparison of the different switches.

I think people often recommend Brown switches because they're a mix of Blues and Reds. Some would say the best of both worlds, others would say the worst of both worlds. In my opinion they feel like Reds with a soft bump in the middle. They're slightly stiffer, but just as easy to actuate repeatedly. When hitting both keys hard, they feel almost the same. Blues feel a lot different, I wouldn't call them "clicky Browns".

Reds and Browns both feel soft. Blues and Blacks are more firm and they bounce back harder (Blacks harder than Blues). Blues have an unfamiliar reset point which could possibly be troublesome in FPS games. Maybe you should even look at Greens if you like Blues, but consider them too light.

Ultimately it's down to preference. You could order a WASD sampler kit, I got mine delivered to Europe in less than a week and it was worth it.

Thx so much i think i will go to black thumb.gif

But wich keyboard has the best feeling between the steelseries 7g and the qpad mk85 with black switches thx

There's no way to quantify the feeling of a board, but personally I'd go with the QPad.

Also please wait a day before bumping threads. thumb.gif

OP, did you get to buy a keyboard with black switches? Which one? Do you get tired while gaming and typing?

Cheers

I ordered the steelseries 6Gv2 on amazon.fr and I have not yet received it will not be long tongue.gif

I think I made the right choice because I love the deep sink keys, and I do not like too light touches against by the fact that the keys are not tactil bump could potentially cause problems. I could see !

I hesitated with the red and blue switches, chestnuts seemed too light lighter than the rubber dome the only keyboard I tested it was steelseries 7g of a friend quake3 player and programmer.

This is my amazon order you can dream it would be my pleasure smile.gif

Nice, please give us your feedback when you try it. I asked that because I ordered a Ozone Strike (its has black switches) and got it yesterday. I am also coming from a normal membrane keyboard. I believe I have strong hands and that ormally press the keys with some kind of strength but noticed that while gaming and typing I get a bit tired so I wanted to know if it´s my problem or not. I also would like to know if this will get better with time...
I ordered this one because it is on of the only two keyboards that exist with my country´s layout (Portugal), along with the Steelseries G7.

EDIT: am I seeing wrong or did you just ordered several mouses from Amazon?! rolleyes.gif

K90 is red surely? - I know mine was....

Also, based on experience for gaming alone Browns are bested only by the once rare Reds. Corsair knew what they were doing when the went for them.

I hope you enjoy the blacks - it's a personal thing in the end but I tried out blues/blacks/browns/reds - I bought a brown in the end due to the lack of Filco reds at the time. - I don't noticed the actuation at all now but when I try reds now I notice they are better for me.

For what it's worth I love gaming on my Blacks, typing, not so much, but when I game I really get into the keyboard pretty hard. When I type I'm must lighter and it doesn't always catch my keystrokes.

GL and I hope you like it.

Yes with great pleasure smile.gif
I try to be as simple and accurate as possible because I find that most testers write too long tests difficult to read for people like me who are not very good at English thumb.gif

In my personal opinion i think too light keyboard like rubber dome or too light (very cheap rubber dome) et and not deep actuation (laptop keyboard like Imac keyboard) make a lot of more
tiredness and injuries to fingers for brutal typist and gamer like me biggrin.gif

I'm not sure it will work out over time, but logically yes, because the fingers are muscles and can become stronger and resistant with regular and intensive training.

That said it could lead to a certain age, rheumatism and joint disorder I am not a doctor.

I think the 7G > the Ozone cause he's full nkro (google is you're friend) with ps2 port not the ozone only usb who's restricted and demand power of cpu, he was not full nkro who suffers from Key Blocking (search on google) and rarely reaches more 6kro (again google or forum biggrin.gif)

Yes : 2 of Logitech G9x why 2 because i saw on forums its was their very best product and and that he had been arrested to make super recently. The best player at starcraft (top2) and quake3 with best aim use it !!! thumb.gif

It's especially hard for small and perfect ergonomics of most is the worthy successor to my very basic Logitech RX250 in terms of shape.

I mostly play Crysis Wars online mode of Crysis Warhead best of all crysis before the mess in the series that began with Crysis 2 mad.gifmad.gif

This mixture and management platform game pushed it very closely resembles the multi Battlefiel but more complex and dynamic arcade.

I never played Battlefield since my pc is too little in powerful graphics card I have a nvidia 9500GT and a single dual-core Athlon 2.9 GHz + 2GB ram sadsmiley.gif
