I think Steam survey is not biased at all and very accurate.

But why are you speaking about Nvidia VS AMD GPUs when the main topic is Qualcomm and Samsung that gain ranks in the MPU ranking charts??

Could it be that Steam is sampling both the Intel IGP and the dedicated GPU?

Or is there really that many people playing on Intel's IGP?

you'd be suprised that many people play games on lowest setting on their intel based low end laptops. intel igpu tends to be the bare minimum mark for games in general at absolute lowest settings.

Good question.  Because MPUs are boring?

everyone says, that the major us car makers are losing market share, and as a matter of percentage of the total market they are, what the analysts leave out "becuase they are stupid and manipulative" is that the car market grew a ton, and that units sold went up most of the way around for all the manufacturers.

using market share percentages without showing market growth as a factor over time, is massively dishonest in reporting statistics.

Look at the price and game bundles (ie value) of AMD cards compared to nVidia, then check the steam hardware survey. AMD still seems to have a very serious image problem and they have a hard time selling their products because of it.

AMD has a image problem, becuase people go around saying that they have a image problem. Thank to market crapping by Intel and Nvidia both about drivers and x86 compatability etc.

its rather surprising AMD compete at all or even still exists.

Then again, the amount of Intel laptop models without a dedicated GPU seem to be the majority...

It was made abundantly clear that the article was about all microprocessors, not just x86 chips. Although if AMD were ever to fall behind VIA, that would be funny indeed...
