EDIT: Wait! i don't think your mobo will work for the cpu. forget it.

hmmm ok. I found a mobo and Phenom II X4 for a decent price on eBay. I am kind of poor at the moment hehe, so eBay is my friend at the moment.

Well a quick update - played some Crysis 3 lastnight, and my CPU is right around 90% and higher, never drops below that. FPS is good, no stuttering or lag going on. My GPUs bounce a lot, usually between 30-60%.

I will be running the GTX 460 in SLi next week, just waiting for the other 460 smile.gif
I own the same APU as you do, and I have some bottleneck with my HD 7850. I get 300 more points in 3DMark11 (performance preset) just by overclocking it a few hundred MHz.
Since running 2x GTX 460's has a little better performance than one 7850, you could probably get by with overclocking your CPU to 3.7 or 3.8GHz.

I have been trying to bump it to 3.7ghz - sometimes it runs fine, sometimes it BSOD on me. I can't figure out exactly the cause whether its voltage, or chip limitation. I bump the voltage to 1.6v when I bumped it to 3.7ghz.

1.6V is way too much! ph34r-smiley.gif
With liquid cooling, you could keep the voltage at ~1.46V and it would be fine.

There is zero info and reviews of your HEC Xpower PSU and given HEC track record you sould replace it

Thanks. I know they don't have a top of the line track record, but this one has been good since 2011. Still chugging along smile.gif I have been wanting to upgrade my power supply when I get a full size tower. Figured I would do both at the same time.

Edit - Sorry, I didn't realize my power supply in my sig was an old power supply. I did upgrade it in 2011 to a APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W. Not sure how it compares to the HEC, but I have the HEC as a spare sitting in the closet.
