DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED error and driver crash in Crysis 3

I get this error every time I try to start the campaign (have not been able to play after the first cutscene)

Crash happens when overclocked and at stock.

Crash occurs using every driver from 13.3 to 13.5.

Multiplayer works perfectly fine strangely enough.

On the 3 different drivers I tried?

The steps I used were:

Uninstall old drivers using the Catalyst Uninstaller
Reboot
Install new drivers
Reboot

Not by any means the most complete method, but could that really cause the problem?
