Either way I'm definitely not changing my mind on the PSU again as I have spent more than 2 months on this decision alone.

Look's like I'll just end up doing some custom length cables and sleeving them myself as that will also allow me to sleeve the IO panel cables too (also I'm a perfectionist ^_^ ), should be a good learning experience though.

Thanks again shilka smile.gif

Dont buy the AX1200i if you want a Cosair get the normal AX1200

Damm i models overpriced because of a silly 80 plus plat bage and useless silly broken software

No Australia is not like North Korea but being so geographically isolated it's a bit harder and more expensive to get stuff as our shipping routes are not travelled as frequently as the EU/US shipping route, also Australian web stores don't stack as a wide variety of stuff as US stores as we have a much smaller population here so there is no point of a store stocking a very niche product if they are only going to sell 1 or 2 of them in a year

^ that there is basically what I have access to in terms of PSU's and a couple of other ones on top but that is pretty much it, so there are a few decent ones. however I'm not really satisfied with the selection there as I am always very very specific about what I want, and often out of bad luck what I want isn't stocked in stores here. If I had money to burn I could get any PSU I wanted from the US but the shipping costs as much as the PSU itself

I only have 2 7950's and an AMD CPU at the moment, I will OC, I am aware 1200 is overkill but for the extra money I feel it is very much worth it. along with some of the benefits of running a PSU at a lower load

Also there is nothing wrong with that PSU imo it's a good one but $40 more get's me the corsair one which is excellent according to numerous reviews, I had read jonnyguru's review on the AX1200 and he just seemed absolutely amazed about it, also some of his coolermaster reviews expressed some doubt about their supplies and I really wanted something that is rock solid to last me a long time.

I have already put my order through for the corsair PSU, I am completely satisfied and nothing will change that

I also noticed your thread about how corsair and seasonic are saturating the market and yes I agree completely with what you said, but I am now one of the sheep rolleyes.gif but belive me I have spent months pouring over insane amounts of reviews of almost every decent 1000W+ PSU that you can get where I am, the corsair AX1200W is very much overkill but all the other features hit all the sweet spots
