Video Editing Laptop on the Go

The E2-1800 does fine for most of my light engineering/research projects, let alone, office, e-mail, etc. The problem is, is that since most of the video software I have is not GPU accelerated with no openCL support and I'm beginning to do a lot of video recording and editing on Premiere Elements 10 with my Hero3 BE. My gaming laptop at home does it fine, and better software is more expensive then just grabbing a faster laptop, but I'm looking for something that can do video editing (on the CPU intensive tasks) while maintaining great battery life. The GPU needs to be able to render 4K videos (though I record less), and needs to be in a small form factor and easily portable and light. I don't know of any excessive thin laptops, with good battery life, that are light and carry a quad core i7. The sager one would be nice, but I'm going to be hauling this around with me for my engineering work as well.

Ideas?

What are the a8 Amd laptops like?

If you're using video editing software that can use GPU/OpenCL acceleration, the A8 APU would've been great. I think it has the GPU power to play 4K videos.

But since the software you're using is CPU limited... I would suggest an i7.
