I'll try to pick up two as well. I guessed 650 from the get go. Kind of figured they had to increase the price due to titan and I said 650 seems to be the middle grounds. One that will still be some what fair and not kill Titan sales.

Titan is not any part of a series, it is the Titan.

Then you have the 700 SERIES, 600 SERIES, 500 SERIES, etc.

In the world of cars and trucks you have the Ford F SERIES, BMW 3 SERIES and 5 SERIES, etc....

Nvidia didn't lie, not one bit. If you thought Titan was going to be some monster one of a kind to never be surpassed, that is your own personal problem and I would recommend further research.

I do understand what a series is. I also have the ability to think for myself and won't just listen to any drivel because someone says so. You will listen and claim it isn't part of a series because a name says so. As I indicated in the post you responded to, I guess I just assumed it would not be part of a series by more than just namesake. In other words, I assumed it would be differentiated from the 700 series by more than the name. As I have now stated in this thread three times, that is my own fault. I assumed too much.

And I did think the Titan wouldn't really be touched until Maxwell. I didn't think we'd see another 384-bit card. I didn't think we'd see an entire series released with the "premium" cooler. I thought Titan would be differentiated by more than just name, yes. And you are right, that is my own personal problem, and I take full responsibility for it.

Edit: And since you're so intellectually superior to me, I may as well use this opportunity to try to better myself. What websites should I have read or research should I have done that would have showed me that the 780 to be released in 3 months was going to be exactly a Titan (down to the cooler) with a few less shaders and VRAM? I would love to know so I am not subjected to the same mistakes again in the future. Thanks.

Don't listen to these people. You have every right to be upset. The same people who are telling you to take a chill pill, are the same people I remember from the Titan thread hyping it up pre-launch. Very few of these folks bought it.
If I were you, I would tell them to get lost. You spent the money, and you have the right to be upset.

I think i might do the same thing as you and wait after the new consoles comes out. But not sure if i should sli the card i have now or just wait with the one card i have now
