Personally, I would just like to meet the person exchange stuff and be done with it. I'd never give t.hem my number or tell them where I live.
What's a nerd like me to do so he doesn't get ripped off, stalked, or even worse?
ive sold 4 video cards already. ive sold shoes, ive bought a scotty cameron putter.. ive done a lot of transactions.
usually whoever is selling gives the product so i can check it out fully. i give money if i am satisfied, and i wait for them to count it to make sure its good. and it usually ends in goodbye and a handshake. the reverse happens if i am the one selling. its pretty standard. as a seller i know myself i wont scam people. but i guess i do understand the anxiety of maybe getting a faulty product. so thats why i never BUY used, i only sell
the 4 video cards ive sold, they know my email and #. but i KNOW they arent broken when i sold them. so i know im not scamming them nor was i doing anything shady. so thats why im sure they are a happy customer and has never contacted me since.Edited by frankietown - 5/22/13 at 9:25pm
