This is what I did as well. Apogee Drive 2 -> Heatkiller Core LC -> AX120 radiator. It's easy to fill, but hard to bleed out all the air bubbles.
I tried the T-split before the pump, after the pump and coming from the radiator. I tried pump running slow and pump fast. I tried with fill port open and with it closed. Squeezing the tubes sometimes helped gather a single bubble, but still many many microbubbles flowing around the loop. I spent days trying to do it this way.
Eventually I got some extra tubing, screwed a fillport into an ice cream tub to use as ghetto reservoir. I had it sufficiently bled within 30 mins. Turned it off, unscrewed the extra tubes and carefully sealed the loop. Next time I will use quick-disconnects or something.
