Iphones are the new blackberry.

I am still waiting for Apple to create a phone that is better than the Galaxy S Vibrant.

I love these threads almost as much as I hate Apple.
One thing I am wondering though:

If Apple is expanding and exercising the rights to their patent holdings,does that not cause the competition to become more innovative in the way they design their products?
If the above is true,does that not push Apple closer and closer towards the realm of *obsolesence*?

Hilarity over here!

I don't like Samsung anymore than I do Apple. But I do prefer Android to iOS, though.

Please provide a link to other hardware in the similar category that provides a better deal while being cheaper, is made out of quality metals, has a quality build ( in terms of fitting and not having loose or flimsy parts ) and provides an equally good customer service. You can't. - Overpriced / Crapple

I can give you plenty of examples on how Apple rips off their customers. Just look at what they charge for ram upgrades for their mac books, or how much their baseline macbooks cost with such baseline low end hardware for what they are charging. Look at their proprietary connectors and what they charge for cables and chargers.

oh wait you said I cant.

To some of Appls here; http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MD094LL/A?

Random computers picked, but prices are the same or similar for all models each company sells

CPU i5 -> i7
HP = $210
Apple = $200

CPU win goes to Apple

8GB RAM -> 16GB RAM

HP = $240
Apple = $200

RAM win goes to Apple

Upgrade-wise, Apple is still well within reasonable prices of other OEM's. And in the case of HP, actually cheaper than their upgrade prices. This is where the bandwagoning and mindless hate for a company starts to crossover with the misinformed. There's a lot of things said about Apple such as their prices, or their upgrade prices that are completely untrue. The company charges what it can and close to what other companies are charging.

Apple doesn't sell $300 versions of their laptops like that of HP, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Etc. And for a good reason, those cheap models feel cheap. Now again. Find me a comparable product with similar specs, in the same category, similar materials, similar build quality, similar size and similar customer service. You can't.

Why are you linking crappy iMacs

The current 15" 2.7ghz MacBook Pro starts at $2800 with subpar hardware for that price http://store.apple.com/us/configure/ME665LL/A?=

fit and finish is nice but not that nice for that kind of cash

look for 2800 you get 512GB SSD, want 768gb?? ADD $400 and look we are up to $3200 already

you can believe what you want but I know better.

That is the RETINA version.

The Current Macbook Pro 15" starts at $1,800.

And obviously you can't read. Upgrade prices for all OEM's are roughly the same for RAM, CPU, etc and in the case of HP, actually more expensive than that of Apple.

And still you have yet to provide me a link to a product as asked; instead you are still here crying.

Prove me wrong, and I will admit you were right and leave or quit crying and pissing on Apple threads with your useless dribble.

Yeah Retina is stupid..

I much prefer HD Super AMOLED Plus or HD Super AMOLED Advanced.

AMOLED meaning Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode

No buzz words here.

Those just roll off the tung.
