Eh... I for one respect Apple for what they have achieved. Steve Jobs said when they launched the iPhone that "And have we patented it!" It is just so sad to see all these other companies infringe on the patents, and build off of the hard work that Apple put in. Apple was the one that brought us what we think of as a modern smartphone, large flat screen with very few buttons and a highly responsive touch interface.
Even though I think Apple could indeed innovate more, innovation is very expensive
, and follower companies can adopt these innovations for relatively cheap prices, so the innovative company must continue to spend piles of money to stay ahead. Apple has every right to pursue legal action for patents they have attained.
The problem is, Apple could R&D anytime and shouldn't be a problem when they have hundreds of Billion in their Pocket, they are just too lazy to R&D and instead, sue company for their so call "innovation"
